Avoir les pieds sur terre

Après "Avoir la tête dans les nuages", "avoir les pieds sur terre" ...

After "To have the head in the clouds" (meaning : to be dreaming) with giraffes, here is "To have foot on earth" (meaning : to be realistic) with birds !
